Solange Sonnenkern vem criando arte no Second Life há mais de quatro anos. Sua trajetória tem sido documentada por ela própria a cada passo do caminho. Ela teve sua própria galeria e já expôs em muitos outras ao longo dos anos. Seu trabalho sempre teve um estilo próprio, facilmente identificável pelo seu senso nato de cores e pela miscigenação de formas, cores e os temas que escolhe.
Seu exposição atual inaugurou em 28 de julho na galeria The Knowhere (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Pigswillfly/139/175/26). A exposição ocupa três andares. Há treze áreas na galeria. Cada uma delas com um tema que se relaciona com seu crescimento e auto-expressão.
No primeiro andar, temos: O Exuberante Desabrochar, Cores do Florescer, Profusão de Luz, Vermelhos Fortes, O Broto (flor) Silencioso - Japão, Energia Zestful , Espumante Santorini, e a Próspera Istanbul - Crescimento Colisor. Os andares de cima tem:Ruptura com a Vida, Crescimento Selvagem, Reflexões Interiores, Crescimento Espiritual, Exuberante Floresta Frondosa, Cidades em Expansão, Crescimento Manual , Magnífico Crescimento Montanhoso, e Florescendo no SL e RL - Crescimento Pessoal.
No segundo andar, no centro da galeria é um espaço aberto que vai até o teto no terceiro andar, onde de cima a baixo é preenchido com esculturas animadas e estáticas que transmitem Crescimento e Energia que caracterizam esta exposição. Eu particularmente adorei as esculturas roliças graciosamente apresentadas. Há uma verdadeira mistura de técnicas ali, incluindo caneta e tinta, escultura, fotografia e design de interiores. A exposição em si é uma obra de arte!
Cada ambiente contém representações de percepções e amor de Solange para cada tópico. Suas obras são carregadas de cores harmoniosas, os conceitos são originais, o ambiente é relaxante e totalmente agradável em geral. Seu amor pela vida e a alegria no seu próprio crescimento pessoal e artístico são evidentes em cada pixel. Solange também corajosamente abraça seu crescimento pessoal e do amor que ela encontrou no Second Life, que é representado por meio da fotografia.

Solange Sonnenkern has been creating art in Second Life for over four years. Her journey has been self documented every step of the way. She's had her own gallery and has exhibited in many others over the years. Her work has always had its own style, easily identifiable by her innate sense of color and by the intermarriage of shape, color and the themes she highlights.
Her current show opened July 28th at The Knowhere Gallery (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Pigswillfly/139/175/26). The exhibit occupies three floors. There are thirteen areas in the gallery. Each is filled with a theme that relates to growth and self expression.
On the first floor, we have Exuberant Blossoming, Blooming Color, Profusion of Light, Robust Reds, Silent Budding - Japan, Zestful Energy, Sparkling Santorini, and Thriving Istanbul - Colliding Growth. The upstairs rooms are filled with Bursting With Life, Growth Untamed, Inner Reflections, Spiritual Growth, Forest Leafy Lushness, Booming Cities, Man-Made Growth, Magnificent Mountainous Growth, and Flourishing in SL & RL - Personal Growth.
On the second floor, at the center of the gallery is an open space that goes all the way through to the ceiling at the third floor, giving room for top-to-bottom treatment of the space, which is filled with animated and static sculptures that impart the growth and energy that characterize this exhibit. I particularly enjoyed the plump, gracefully highlighted sculptures throughout the exhibit. There is a real mix of techniques here, including pen and ink, sculpture, photography, and interior design. The exhibit itself is a work of art!
Each room contains representations of Solange's perception and love for each topic. Her works are loaded with flowing colors, original concepts, and an overall soothing and fully enjoyable ambiance. Her love of life and the joy she takes in artistic and her own personal growth are evident in every pixel. Solange also bravely embraces her own personal growth and the love she's found in Second Life, which is represented through the medium of photography.
I highly recommend Solange's exhibit. The combination of color and experience makes it wonderfully unique!
