Olá

Primeiramente gostaria de pedir desculpas pelo longo tempo sem escrever um post neste blog.

Estive viajando e embora tivesse combinado com minha amiga querida Petlove Petshop de alimentar o blog ficamos ambas impossibilitadas de fazê-lo por não estarmos no país onde foi originado o blog.....coisas de segurança da informação.

Voltamos agora aos trabalhos semanais e recomeçamos com o texto que foi criado pela  Petlove e que deveria ser postado em meados de maio, agradecendo pela sua gentil colaboração.

A Universidade da Austrália Ocidental (University of West Australia- UWA) é bem conhecida pela seu apoio consistente às artes no Second Life.

Liderada por Jayjay Ziffanwe, L$ 1,1 milhão, Machinima UWA VI: Reflections, o sexto concurso de filmes animados da UWA  e o concurso de arte em 3D do Centenário da UWA: Reflexões, estão acontecendo agora, enquanto falamos.

Prazo para a entrada de esculturas em 3D com o limite de até 150 prims foi em 30 de maio de 2013. E o dia 30 de junho é a data limite para a entrada de machinimas. O tema "Reflexões" aplica-se a ambos e é de interpretação livre. As machinimas deverão conter um dos três locais designados pela UWA, você poderá ler sobre o assunto no blog : http://uwainsl.blogspot.com/. Todas as informações necessárias para participação neste concurso poderão ser encontrados ali, além da  lista de participações já entregues. Os trabalhos serão julgados por um grande júri e, em seguida, os prêmios serão distribuídos em uma cerimônia solene. O evento provavelmente será transmitido diretamente pela internet, uma cortesia AviewTV, como já tem acontecido no passado.

Fui à UWA para verificar as escultura em 3D que estão participando. Todas são incríveis, de uma forma ou de outra. Pessoas talentosas e criativas é que não faltam no Second Life. UWA dá a todos uma chance de brilhar. Eu não sabia para onde olhar primeiro. Foram por volta de 60 participantes. Cada participação é única e digna de ser mencionada, no entanto seria impossível fazê-lo neste pequeno blog. Sugiro que você visite a UWA -  e. Anexei algumas fotos .. Não perca esta oportunidade!

As entradas machinimas têm também sido fantásticas. Existem por volta de 30 até agora, e  também estão listados no site. É melhor assistir as machinimas a medida em que são anunciadas. Caso contrário, você vai ter que sentar e assistir muitas de uma só vez ..! Tal como acontece com as esculturas que participam, o talento e a energia utilizados para a criação de machinimas para este fantástico concurso é verdadeiramente surpreendente. Ver tudo isso é algo que você deve a si mesmo!

First I would like to apologize for the long time without writing a post on this blog.
I was traveling and althought combined with my dear friend Petlove Petshop to feed the blog for me  we were both unable to acess it because we were not in the country where originated the blog ..... things about information security.
Now back to the weekly work  will start with the post that was created by Petlove and should had been posted in midle of May, thanks so much for her  kind collaboration.

The University of Western Australia is well renowned for it's solid support of the arts in Second Life. 

Headed by Jayjay Ziffanwe, the L$1.1 Million, "MachinimaUWA VI: Reflections, the 6th UWA Short Animated Film Challenge," and the "UWA Centenary 3D Art Challenge: Reflections," are going on now as we speak.

Deadline for the entry of a 150 prim limit, 3D sculpture was May 30, 2013.  June 30th is the deadline for entry of a machinima.  The theme of 'reflections' applies to both and is left open to interpretation.  Machinima entries much contain visuals of one of three designated spots at UWA, which you can read about on their blog at http://uwainsl.blogspot.com/.  All necessary information about submissions to this challenge can be found there, plus a listing of current entries.  Entries will be judged by a large jury and then prizes are distributed at a grand ceremony.  The event will probably be livestreamed to the internet courtesy of AviewTV, as it has been in the past.

I went to UWA to survey the 3D sculpture entries.  All of them are amazing in one way or another.  Talented, creative people abound in Second Life.  UWA gives them all a chance to shine.  I didn't know which way to look first.  There were  around 60 entries.  Each entry is unique and worthy of mention, thus making it too much for this short blog.  I suggest you go visit at UWA http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/UWA/100/211/248.  I've attached a few pictures..  Don't miss this!

The machinima entries to date have also been terrific.  There are around30 so far, but they too are listed at the website.  It's best to watch the machinima entries as they are announced.  Otherwise you will have to sit down and watch them all at once..!  As with the sculpture entries, the talent and energy that goes into machinima creation for this fantastic challenge is truly amazing.  You owe it to yourself to check them all out!
