Foi inaugurada no dia 18 de janeiro 2013
a instalação de Betty Tureaud, batizada como "O Lado detrás da Lua”.
A movimentada inauguração contou com a
presença da compositora e musicista Ultraviolet Alter.
Esta instalação faz parte da série “Art
Planets 2013” (Planetas Arte 2013) que a artista estará apresentando durante
este ano.
Betty Tureaud é uma artista dinamarquesa,
tanto na vida real quanto no Second Life, e tem como premissa básica não utilizar
sua arte da vida real em seus trabalhos virtuais no SL.
Esta instalação (onde os elementos
artísticos são partes de um cenário) nos remete à uma viagem para a lua, onde o
passageiro somente precisa levar uma pequena mala. Uma vez clicando nela, somos
transportados diretamente à exposição.
Na instalação é só caminhar pelo espaço
sideral de Betty que, como não poderia deixar de ser, é repleto de cores e
muitas transparências que acabam tomando conta do avatar até chegar próximo ao
lado detrás da lua onde fica sem cor e escuro.
Mas não por muito tempo, caminhando para
dentro do satélite natural da terra voltamos a encontrar a luz que ilumina as
diversas texturas utilizadas para o interior da lua e que vão se alternando.
Ali dentro é possível ainda, clicando em
um cone fazer um teleporte a um outro espaço também repleto de cores e
movimentos.
Enfim, utilizando as ferramentas básicas
de construção do Second Life (as primitivas - prims), além de muitas cores e
movimentos, Betty nos leva a uma verdadeira viagem ao espaço sideral das artes
no Second Life, "onde o limite é a sua imaginação”.
The Back Side of the Moon - Betty Tureaud
It was inaugurated on January 18, 2013 installation of Betty Tureaud,
dubbed "The Back Side of the Moon".
The crowded opening was attended by the show of composer and musician Ultraviolet Alter.
This installation is part of the series "Art Planets 2013 "
that the artist will be presenting during this year.
Betty Tureaud is a Danish
artist in Real Life and also in Second Life, but
whose basic premise is not use her real life art
in her second life creations.
This installation (where the art elements are presented in a
transformed indoor space) takes us on a journey to the moon where the passengers need only take a
small suitcase. Once clicking on it, we are led directly to exhbition.
Then just
walk through outer space filled with many colors
and transparencies (striking feature of Betty) that
end up taking over the avatar
till reach the backside of the
moon, dark and colorless.
But not for too long, because while you walk to inside of the Earth's natural satellite, you return to find the light that illuminates all the different textures used in the interior of the moon and that will be alternating. There inside you can also click the cone and teleport to another space also full of color and movement.
So using the basic tools of Second Life constructions (primitives/prims), plus many colors and movements, Betty takes us on a real journey into outer space in Second Life, "where the limit is your imagination".
