Pol
No terceiro piso DeMarco Galthier e Sunset Quinnell
apresentam esculturas e maquetes

On December 5, 2012 died Oscar Niemeyer , the Brazilian architect who was one of the major influences of modern architecture in the twentieth century and early twenty-first , one of the pioneers of the exploration of the aesthetic and constructive possibilities of reinforced concrete .
Known as a monuments sculptor , Niemeyer was known for abstract and curvilinear forms of his buildings. He even stated that he did not like the straight line created by human beings , rather use curves that are found in nature and even the women's body .
His works are in different countries as Brazil , United States , Algeria and Germany, among his best-known buildings are the public buildings of Brasilia , the UN headquarters in New York , which was one of it's creators , the headquarters of the French Communist Party and The Modern Art Museum of Caracas .
To honor the architect on the first death anniversary and present him to Second Life`s residents, some artists decided to create a colaborative exhibition which has its central axis, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Niterói , a landmark among the last works done by the architect.
The MAC (Museu de Arte Contemporanea) , which in real life sits high on a cliff overlooking the Guaratiba beach and Guanabara Bay , was reproduced in the metaverse by Adreano Constantine and inside , instead of art exhibitions RL , thre are SL works by artists who gave their interpretation for Niemeyer`s works.
On the first floor we have the Presentation Area - where some more relevant topics about the architect's life and also a panel of photographs RL ( real ) , the result of research by Abel Paulino and Nanda111 Constantine .
The second floor is divided into Central Area and Balcony . In the Central Area , Pol Jarvinen presents the installation that he baptized as The Wave , inspired by the curves of Niemeyer 's works, has an animation where the avatar flies so hight that can see the installation from several different angles . Pol strip installation inside the museum purposely representing the characteristic of Niemeyer to transcend their own time.
In the Balcony ( outside area ) , Cullum Writer presented a graphic collage , which mixes several images of buildings and works and wrap all the graphic effects paper.
On the third floor DeMarco Galthier and Sunset Quinnell feature sculptures and maquettes inspired by the original Niemeyer . DeMarco also opens the exhibition with Niemeyer himself inviting everyone to learn about the project .
